Polar codes for the m-user multiple access channels
Polar codes are constructed for m-user multiple access channels (MAC) whose input alphabet size is a prime number. The block error probability under successive cancelation decoding is o(2−N 1/2− ), where N is the block length. Although the sum capacity is achieved by this coding scheme, some points in the symmetric capacity region may not be achieved. In the case where the channel is a combinat...
متن کاملBounds for Multiple-Access Relay Channels with Feedback via Two-way Relay Channel
In this study, we introduce a new two-way relay channel and obtain an inner bound and an outer bound for the discrete and memoryless multiple access relay channels with receiver-source feedback via two-way relay channel in which end nodes exchange signals by a relay node. And we extend these results to the Gaussian case. By numerical computing, we show that our inner bound is the same with o...
متن کاملSeminoisy deterministic multiple-access channels: Coding theorems for list codes and codes with feedback
Whereas the average error capacity region Ra for the MAC W : X ×Y → Z is known for a long time (Ahlswede 71), very little is known about the capacity region Rm for the maximal error concept (as predicted also by Ahlswede in 71). Inspite of great efforts during the past three decades even for some special examples of deterministic MAC, for which the maximal error concept coincides with the conce...
متن کاملOutage Probability Bound and Diversity Gain for Ultra-Wideband Multiple-Access Relay Channels with Correlated Noises
In this paper, Ultra-wideband (UWB) multiple access relay channel with correlated noises at the relay and receiver is investigated. We obtain outer and inner bounds for the IEEE 802.15.3a UWB multiple access relay channel, and also, a diversity gain bound. Finally, we evaluate some results numerically and show that noise correlation coefficients play important role in determining relay position.
متن کاملBlock-spreading codes for impulse radio multiple access through ISI channels
Transmitting digital information using ultra-short pulses, Impulse Radio (IR) has received increasing interest for Multiple Access (MA). Analog IRMA utilizes pulse-position modulation (PPM) and random time-hopping codes to mitigate inter-symbol interference (ISI) and suppress multiuser interference (MUI) statistically. We develop an alldigital IRMA scheme that relies on block-spreading and judi...
